PMSI supported Agentis Health Group’s acquisition of Clinical Pharmacist Solutions (CPS)
PMSI is pleased to have supported LDC-backed Agentis Health Group on its acquisition of Clinical Pharmacist Solutions (CPS), a healthcare provider that specialises in outsourced pharmacy services, clinical support and training. The acquisition strengthens Agentis’s healthcare offering and aligns with the 10 Year Health Plan’s shift towards community-based and preventative services.
Founded in 2019, CPS supports primary healthcare providers with bespoke clinical pharmacy services. It has created award-winning training programmes for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to deliver clinical services that improve efficiency while ensuring excellent patient care.
The acquisition will enable Agentis to offer primary healthcare providers a truly integrated end-to-end long-term conditions management service, combining digital innovation with clinical pharmacy expertise.
Agentis was established from within Ashtons – a leading UK provider of medicines management and prescribing technologies – in September 2025 to deliver better health outcomes for people living with long-term conditions. It encompasses three core service areas: Agentis Healthcare, Agentis Pharmacy and Agentis Labs. This is Agentis’ second acquisition, having acquired Living With upon launch.
PMSI provided CDD to support the transaction. Our work sized the market for outsourced clinical pharmacists and evaluated the stability of ARRS funding, where the opportunity for independent prescribing may sit going forwards, and how CPS should best position itself to serve the new neighbourhood contracts being trialled and rolled out across the NHS. We also assessed CPS’s competitive positioning and conducted a customer referencing programme.
